"The number of jobs needed every year for new entrants to the labour market to keep up with the growth of the global working age population amounts to 30 million."

The global unemployment rate in 2017 was 5.6 per cent, down from 6.4 per cent in 2000.

Globally, 61 per cent of all workers were engaged in informal employment in 2016.

470 million jobs will be needed to absorb new entrants to the labour market between 2016 and 2030.

  6. Raise awareness on the importance of complying with the Occupational Risk Prevention Law in the sector.
  7. Improve working conditions guaranteeing safety and comfort.
