The report, prepared by the company PwC, analyses and quantifies the global contribution of the construction industry in the Basque Country, and, in view of the results, highlights its relevant role in economic recovery and sustainable growth.

Empleo en Construcción (Inglés)

EMPLEO EN CONSTRUCCIÓN

‘Empleo en Construcción’ is an initiative of ERAIKUNE to alleviate the unemployment generated by the stoppage and the decrease in activity as a result of COVID-19, putting unemployed people in common with the companies of the Construction Industry.

It is included in the 3R program for the promotion of employment of the Diputación de Bizkaia in the framework of the pandemic and includes a set of actions aimed at improving opportunities to find a job.

Online Training

ONLINE TRAINING

At ERAIKUNE we are committed to continuous training and specialization for all those who are part of the construction value chain. For this reason, we have launched specialized online training courses in the sector, in collaboration with the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.

ACCESS THE TRAINING

The Cluster of the Construction Industry in the Basque Country, ERAIKUNE is a non-profit association of interconnected companies, suppliers and supporting agents from the same field. The underlying idea is that competing companies within the same sector may come together to increase their business.

ERAIKUNE groups over one hundred companies from the Basque construction sector, representing an approximate turnover of 50% of the total of the sector in the Basque Country and generating more than 12,000 jobs.

ERAIKUNE has the Bronze Label, the standard of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI), an initiative by the European Commission to define and certify an excellence scheme among European clusters. It is an international standard that certifies cluster management excellence according to a number of uniform management quality indicators and the services provided to the members of the cluster organization.
